SCHOLARSHIP CORNER
Remember to Apply to all of the Local Scholarships!

NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

The majority of the National Scholarship applications will be online applications.  If we have any blank applications, they can be found in Guidance in the SCHOLARSHIP CORNER, an organizer located on the conference table, where we keep all of the blank applications. We will note in the Jr/Sr Weekly Bulletin on where you can locate the applications, whether it be in the Scholarship Corner or on the scholarships web site.

LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

The Local scholarship applications will be uploaded to Naviance at time of posting.  Local scholarships will be published from January through March.  In addition, we will have blank applications in the Scholarship Corner.

HOW SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE ORGANIZED

Every Scholarship posted will be assigned a numerical ID number and will be filed in the Scholarship Corner in numerical order.  The Local scholarships will have an “L” after the numerical ID number to easily identify them as Local Scholarships.

The students have full access to the Scholarship Corner organizer.  When a student wants to take a blank application, they would pull the file folder, sign the sign-up form inside the folder, and then remove a blank application.  Once they have completed the scholarship application they will submit through guidance for processing.

YOU MUST SIGN THE SCHOLARSHIP FORM LOCATED IN THESE FOLDERS FOR EVERY SCHOLARSHIP YOU APPLY TO – EVEN IF IT IS AN ONLINE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION. GUIDANCE USES THESE SIGN-UP SHEETS TO TRACK WHAT SCHOLARSHIPS ARE BEING UTILIZED.

NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP LINK in NAVIANCE
Naviance has a National Scholarship Search link that is extremely useful in searching the National Scholarships.  The link can be found on the College Tab.
