As
your freshmen, sophomores, and juniors consider their summer plans and college
research, we want to introduce you to Northeastern University's Summer Programs for high school students.
Our Summer Programs include credit and noncredit options that are designed to prepare rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors for the academic, social, and campus experiences of freshman year of college. Building on Northeastern's world-renowned reputation for experiential learning and mission to create and translate knowledge, our programs focus on bringing together classroom learning and real-world experiences. The result? Valuable skills and concepts students will apply in high school, college, and beyond.
Our goal is to educate students for a life of fulfillment and accomplishment. What makes our Summer Programs unique?

- Get
a taste of college life.
Live on campus, take college classes (and earn credit), and experience
"hybrid learning" - a blend of classroom and online instruction.
- Study
thriving industries.
Entrepreneurship, sports leadership, and information technology are 2013
Summer Seminar topics.
- Learn
the Northeastern way: put ideas into action. Participate in research that meets societal needs,
contribute to community programming, develop a business plan, or program a
new technology. Students will have new experiences, meet new people and
add to their portfolios.
- Experience
Boston. The city offers exciting
activities such as sightseeing, college visits, sporting events, cultural
exhibits, and much more.
We encourage you to tell your talented students about our programs. We also invite you to learn more by attending a webinar on January 16 or downloading our program brochure. Also, our program staff is available to answer any questions you may have. Just call 877.668.7727 or email summerprecollege@neu.edu.
We hope you can join us on January 16!
Sincerely,
